BLAKE JONES TROUT DERBY

2018 will mark the 50th anniversary of this exciting event. As one of the largest single-day derbies in the state, Blake Jones Trout Derby attracts people from all over. There will be large fish to catch in the Owens River and Pleasant Valley Reservoir and over $10,000 in prizes to win!

MULE DAY

With the next event being held Memorial Day weekend 2018, this world-class equestrian event promotes the talents, heritage, and legacy of the mule. You can browse the many food and souvenir vendor stands, learn about the mule, and watch thrilling mule races!

FISHMAS

If you want to do some fishing near bishop, attend Fishmas! It is one of the largest fishing events of the year that once attracted over 30,000 anglers to the Highway 395 corridor. With a smaller crowd now, it is still a popular event for trout fisherman and anyone who loves to fish along the Eastern Sierra.
