Mammoth Mountain Ski Resort

Welcome to Mammoth Mountain, California's highest four-season resort and playground with a summit at 11,053 feet above sea level. With 300 days of sunshine annually, the Eastern Sierra offers infinite recreation and scenic beauty all year long, including skiing and snowboarding in the winter, and mountain biking and golf in the summer. Our legendary snowfall provides a perfect winter playground, enabling Mammoth to truly claim the title of Southern California's mountain home.

Stunning Sierra Views

Take a scenic ride up Mammoth Mountain on the Panorama Gondola to explore all the fun at 11,053 ft. At the top, snap a selfie at the summit sign, enjoy lunch with panoramic views at the Eleven53 Café, and discover the history and wonder of the Sierra at the interpretive center.

Access to the Eleven53 Interpretive Center is FREE with the purchase of a Scenic Gondola Ride ticket.

Kids Ride FREE

Up to 2 kids (ages 12 and under) ride free with each paying adult.

Smiles for Miles

Get off the beaten path and take in the scenic sights on a snowmobile adventure through the High Sierra. Mellow cruisers and hard chargers alike will find big fun exploring tree-lined trails and massive meadows on a guided excursion.

Guided Tours

Our guides know the region better than anyone and can show you Mammoth in a whole new way. Follow them to the best locations for exceptional views and secret stashes of untracked powder during a 1.5 or 3 hour tour.

All Snowmobile Adventure tours are wind/weather and conditions dependent.

Full-On Fun for Everyone

Skip the uphill hike and catch a lift to the top, then bomb down the groomed lanes as fast as you dare in a high-speed snow tube. Woolly's Tube Park is all-time fun for all ages with a large snow play area and a heated deck with snack bar offering hot cocoa and adult beverages.

Children must be at least 42" tall to snow tube.

Snow Play Area

The snow play area is packed with big fun for even the littlest ones. Start with a snowman, shred on a surf sled and top it off with a tube ride on Woolly's Merry-Go-Round.

Scenic Tours to Minaret Vista

Enjoy the heated comfort of a luxury snowcat tour up to one of Mammoth's most scenic spots where you can take in the spectacular views of Mammoth Mountain, the Minarets, Ritter Range and beyond. At the vista, toast to the landscape and enjoy a spread of delicious eats. Each snowcat holds up to 12 people. Both tours are approximately two hours.

Learn About the Region

Free on-mountain ski/snowboard tours are available at Mammoth and June Mountain, as well as snowshoe tours from the Tamarack Cross-Country Ski Center. All tours are offered most weekends and holidays Dec 14 – April 21, weather and conditions permitting.

Kick your winter up a notch and get in great shape this season. Explore the Mammoth Lakes Basin on cross-country skis or snowshoes for some scenic family adventures or butt-kicking fun across 19+ miles (30+ kilometers) of secluded, groomed world-class trails. Rentals, lessons, guided tours and season passes are available from the Tamarack Cross-Country Ski Center, located at Tamarack Lodge.

Mammoth's largest park has set the bar for pro-level terrain parks with its massive, perfectly sculpted jumps, technical rails and the 22-foot halfpipe. Countless professional skiers and snowboarders have launched their careers right here. Over the years, our park builders have continued to push the boundaries of creativity and fun while keeping the video-worthiness of Main Park alive and well.

South Park

Accessible from Roller Coaster Express (Chair 4)

CLOSED

There's a reason pros come to this park to warm-up and spend their entire day lapping the 18-foot halfpipe, multiple jump lines and super trickable jib lines. The long run length and flowy feel mixed with the early sun and lighter winds all combine to create a truly incredible terrain park experience.
